Burlesque is hard work – for you and your costumes! At some point, your costume is going to need repair, probably at the worst possible moment. Let Miss Mina Murray show you some simple hand sewing techniques to repair your costumes (and other clothes too) and keep them looking great for longer! In this hands-on class you’ll learn how to baste, mend a seam, fix a hem, patch a hole, and repair a buttonhole.

What To Bring: 12 x 12 piece of fabric (plain cotton recommended), sharp needle, thread (embroidery floss recommended), scissors, embroidery hoop (optional)

Accessibility: This class does not require mobility aids.
