TAKE IT OFF! The story and subversions of the Tease.
Did you know that striptease wasn’t always part of burlesque? Or that there’s never been just one “classic” way to do it? From myths and misconceptions to fashion trends and cultural shifts, this 90-minute workshop dives deep into the evolving history of the tease; what it means, where it came from, and how it’s been redefined over time. And that’s not all! We’ll also deconstruct the standard “rules” of striptease and explore how to craft your own unique, subversive, and intentional ways of undressing onstage.
